A self-taught maker, he began with dolls’ houses and miniature furniture before focusing on kinetic pieces that delight both children and adults. There’s some cosy crafting, including a Harry Potter themed crochet hook wrap (mostly made off camera but you do get to see it), plus the very beginnings of my next projects. I start cutting triangles for some Valentine bunting and make a start on Valentine gift bags using a clearance table runner I cut into four. I also pop into a big charity furniture shop for a short thrift. They have furniture, bric-a-brac, clothes and books, but I leave empty handed as the quality wasn’t quite there this time. In between all that, there are small moments walking the dog, little evening chats, and some car vlogging when I’ve had a bit of child-free time. Looking ahead to next season, I’m planning to scale back on potato varieties but possibly add even more pots to keep the excitement alive.
